The Womac Law Firm Has Proudly Served New Orleans for 35 Years

|

In 1983, Ed Womac started The Womac Law Firm as a modest, New Orleans-based solo practice trying personal injury cases before Louisiana trial courts. Over the past three decades, The Womac Law Firm has grown into a skilled team of 20 attorneys with satellite offices serving Gretna and Mandeville. Our firm provides passionate and professional advocacy for accident victims. When you become our client, you and your needs are given top priority.

While it is our job to zealously advocate for your interests, it is our utmost pleasure to give back to the New Orleans and Jefferson Parish communities. And giving back means more to us than just writing checks to charities. Ed’s commitment to education has led him to take active leadership roles at both Louisiana State University and Loyola University New Orleans.

As The Womac Law Firm rose in prominence, it was important for us to also lift the community with us. We are pleased to have been major a contributor to the Jefferson Parish Recreational Department and several local schools. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the library at St. Philip Neri was severely damaged; The Womac Law Firm helped replace the library.

We are grateful that the Pelican State has been The Womac Law Firm’s home for over 30 years. Louisiana has a long and rich history, and we are proud to be a part of it.

New Orleans

The Womac Law Firm’s first office was established in New Orleans – a city that proudly preserves its unique cultural traditions regarding music, art, cuisine and entertainment. New Orleans has a distinct cultural heritage that reaches back to a time when the United States was no more than a few British colonies. At that time, Louisiana was a French colonial territory. Over the next two centuries, New Orleans became a melting pot of French, Creole and African culture. Remnants of New Orleans’ rich cultural history can be seen today in many of our city’s famous tourist attractions, such as the city’s French Quarter.

Mandeville

Our firm also has an office in the City of Mandeville. Founded in 1834, Mandeville is one of the oldest cities in St. Tammany Parish. Mandeville’s attractions include the beautiful Lake Pontchartrian and the Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall – considered the oldest remaining rural jazz dance halls in the world and listed on the National Register of Historical Places.

Westbank

The Womac Law Firm’s Westbank office is located in the City of Gretna, in Jefferson Parish. Gretna hosts the Gretna Heritage Festival, which spans 25 city blocks and features live musical performances, car shows, food trucks, and more. Just recently, the festival celebrated its 24th anniversary with musicians that included the Village People, Sister Sledge, and Uptown Funk.

Gretna boasts other notable attractions, including the historic Hook & Ladder Cemetery, and the German-American Cultural Center at the heart of the city’s National Register Historic District.

Proudly Serving the State of Louisiana for 35 Years

For the past few decades, we at The Womac Law Firm have proudly served New Orleans and her residents by fighting for the rights of accident victims, and we are currently celebrating more than 35 years of service to the community. We are pleased to have developed a rich history of achieving victory on behalf of our clients and helping injured people obtain just solutions. With locations in Mandeville, Gretna, and New Orleans, our firm is honored to represent people from across the state of Louisiana.
